Alps Austria

We are all meeting in Bratislava. The guides will be flying from Lviv, so we can fly together if you want. From Bratislava, we go to Vienna, check into a hotel, and go for a walk. Today is our day of acquaintance. We have time to walk the streets of Vienna and get to know each other well.

In the morning, we drive to Western Austria to start our route. On the first travel day, we will have an easy trek around our campsite. We will climb to the viewpoint of 1260m. It won't be hard, but even there, there will be special ropes to hold on to. We will also walk along the Troll's path, try to solve its riddles, and walk on stilts. In the evening we will set up tents at the campsite and cook a delicious dinner.

It's time to pass the first test of the Alps. We climb the Hochtor mountain (2369m), the highest peak in the Ennstal Alps. The mountain is very proud and it takes a lot of effort to climb it. The way to the top is lined with ladders and special chains. In the middle of the route, there will be a mountain hotel where you can eat and relax. At the top, there will be superb views of the rocky Alps. Everyone who climbs Hochtor Mountain will be proud of themselves!

On this day, we are going to rest in Hallstatt. Probably everyone has seen it in photos, but they do not convey the impressions and colors that prevail in the town. Hallstatt is considered one of the most beautiful towns in Austria. Here, everyone can walk around the city, take beautiful photos, and see the salt mine. Those who want to can swim in the lake - it's gorgeous. In the evening, we will find another gorgeous campsite where we will spend the night and gain strength before climbing the Hochkönig mountain.

Today is the most challenging day of the trip, with a high and rocky peak ahead. Mount Hochkönig is the highest peak in the Berchtesgaden Alps. The ascent will be long, so we must start very early. On the way to the top, we pass by the Milok pasture. Surprisingly, they are huge here. Nowhere else have we seen such large cows. When we get to the top, it will be breathtaking. After today, we will be tired but happy. We will open a bottle of wine in the evening at the campsite.

We wake up, have a delicious breakfast, and move to a campsite near Lake Zell am See. This lake is another Austria's trademark. Here, you can relax endlessly, swim, or rent a kayak.

The key element of today's program will be the Kaprun water power plant. To get there, you need to travel part of the way by a special bus through tunnels and part of the way by a cable car. On the way, we will stop to see the magnificent dam. Then, we will make a small hike to the observation deck and return. This is the end of the traveling part.

If the weather is nice today, we'll swim in Lake Zell am See and head to Bratislava. There we check into a hotel and go for a walk. Everyone will have a free program and enjoy a walk around the evening city.
