The Chyvchyny massif Ukraine
About the trip
- 11.09.2021 - 18.09.2021 (8 days) - Registration untill Sept. 10, 2021
We are going to Chyvchyny, a lost piece of the Carpathians. The hike will last for 8 days. We will start our route from Marmarosy, where we will climb the Pip Ivan mountain. After that, we will move to the Chyvchyny massif and go further, up to Mount Tomnatyk, where the Pamir radar station is located.
What is so special about the Chyvchyn massif? First of all, it's mountains and landscapes, but at the same time it is quite challenging to get here. These mountains run along the border with Romania, and almost no villages are nearby. In general, to go down from this ridge, you must walk to the nearest town for two days. There are also not many tourists here, which allows you to enjoy the hike and be in harmony with nature. We will walk the entire route with small elevation changes, taking our time and enjoying the scenery, and every evening, we will find a cozy camping spot. We will have a great trip, and it will be the final part of the 100 Peaks route, so you will have a chance to complete a great adventure with us.
There is one more important point! We should not forget that the war is ongoing, so we are helping the Ukrainian Armed Forces. One of us is at the front - Daniil Kharytonchyk, so we will transfer 15% of our profits to the 80th Air Assault Brigade. If you want to donate, you can top up your monobank!
If you are interested in participating, please register, and we will contact you. For more information, please call: +38 (096) 40-33-589
