The Borzhava valley is considered one of the most beautiful in the Ukrainian Carpathians. This mountain range fascinates and beckons, and you want to remember this beauty forever and come back here many times. During the trip to Borzhava we will climb the mountain Velykyi Verkh, but most importantly, we will have a good time in an interesting and fun company.
This hike is a kind of retreat for the soul, because you want to escape from reality and relax mentally. The trip will last for 2 days, where on the first day we will hike in the mountains, and the next day we will rest and drink tea with cheesecake on a mountain slope in Chayovnia Suria. So come with us to the mountains, it will be interesting!
There is one more important point! We all should not forget that the war is on, and that is why we are helping the Ukrainian Armed Forces. - Day 1: Trekking from Volovets to Pylypets via Velykyi Verkh mountain
Our journey will begin in Lviv. We get ready at 6:00 and go to the village of Volovets. We will have an interesting hike without heavy backpacks because all our things will be transported by bus to the place where we will spend the night.
The route will start at the foot of Mount Play, where we will first climb to an abandoned cheese factory, and then go to Mount Velykyi Verkh (1598 meters). At the top, you will have fantastic views of the entire Borzhava, and in the distance you will see Chornohora and its highest peaks. From there, we will go down to the village of Pylypets, where we will spend the night in a private estate, and in the evening we will organize a bathhouse to have a good steam and relax after the hike.
- Day 2: Visit the Suriya Tea House
Today we have a rest day, we will not exert ourselves too much, so we have enough time to sleep and relax. After breakfast, we'll head to a unique Carpathian attraction - Chayovnia Suria. Since we were promised a day of rest, we will use the ski lifts there and back.
In Chayovnia, we will be able to drink Carpathian tea, taste freshly baked cheesecake, and buy a nice souvenir. This place definitely deserves your attention and is included in many ratings of interesting places to visit.
After Chayovnia, we will go down to Pylypets and return to Lviv. And of course, we will arrange the next adventure together! We arrive in Lviv around 22:00.
