Chornohora

The first day of our trip will be quite challenging as it will involve a rather big altitude gain, but we will gain height smoothly and will not rush anywhere. We meet in Lviv at 2 a.m., and then we start our trip to the village of Kvasy. There, we will have a light breakfast and then get on the route. Today, we will climb Petros and set up a campsite between Petros and Hoverla.

The landscapes will be fabulous from the first day, so beautiful photos are guaranteed. In the evening, we will set up tents, cook a delicious dinner, and admire the night sky with the stars.

We have an early start, take down our camp, have breakfast, and head out on the route. The first peak for today will be Hoverla. We hope that in the morning, there will not be many tourists there, and we will be able to admire the landscape around us in solitude. We descend from Hoverla and follow the route: Breskul, Pozhyzhevska, Danzig, and Turkul. In this way, we descend to Nesamovyte Lake, where we will set up our camp and spend the night.

Now, we have reached the equator of our journey. Today, we will climb one of the most beautiful mountains in the Carpathians. Most of you have probably heard of Mount Shpytsi, which is a sharp rock that seems to be breaking out of the ground. Only here it is possible to sit and contemplate the scenery for a very long time, but we still have more to show you. After the Spits, there will be Mount Rebra and then Gutyn Tomnatyk and Brebeneskul Lake. From the top of Hutyn Tomnatnyk, you can clearly see the lake and take some really cool photos. It may seem like we are traveling from lake to lake, and that's precisely what we are. The finish point for today will be a campsite on the shores of Brebeneskul Lake.

We wake up early, have breakfast, and set off; today, we will hike three more mountains from our list. First, we will climb from the lake to Mount Brebeneskul and walk along the Chornohora ridge to the former observatory "White Elephant". So smoothly, we will approach the last peak from our list of “7 highest peaks of the Ukrainian Carpathians”. On Mount Pip Ivan, we will take a group photo, look at the scenery, and go to set up camp.

I almost forgot, the last time we met Dima Komarov at this peak, maybe this time we will be lucky again and meet some celebrities.

Today is a very simple day, but no less rich in scenery. We descend to the village of Dzembronia across Mount Smotrych. This peak was named because all the surrounding mountains are visible from it, and if you look closely, you can see most of the Carpathians. On the way down, we stop at a dairy farm, which is unique because you can buy cheese, mushrooms, and other Carpathian delicacies there. We don't want to return home empty-handed, so we buy souvenirs.

In the village of Dzembronia, a bus will be waiting for us to take us to Lviv, arriving at about 23:00.
