The only thing better than mountains are the mountains you've never been to. The pearl of the Carpathians is a place that many travelers dream of visiting and seeing with their own eyes. We're talking about an abandoned radar station in the Bukovyna Carpathians. The Pamir radar is a place that is not easy to reach because the strategic facility is hidden in a virtually deserted place - on Tomnatyk Mountain, 1565 meters high, almost on the border with Romania. Now only large spheres remain of the secret military facility, but they are fantastic, and you want to return there, not for nothing that this place was called the Carpathian Pamir.
There is one more important point! We should not forget that the war is ongoing, so we are helping the Ukrainian Armed Forces. One of us is at the front - Daniil Kharytonchyk. We will transfer 15% of our profits to the 80th Air Assault Brigade. If you want to donate, you can top up your monobank!

- Day 1: Hiking up Tomnatyk Mountain to the Pamir radar station
Our trip will last two days, but it's enough time to see the Carpathian Pamir and have a good rest from the workdays. So, we all meet in Lviv at 02.00 am and go to the village of Shepit - this will be the beginning of our hiking route. The entire trail is simple, without elevation changes and long ascents, so everyone is welcome to join the trip.
Let's say a few words about Pamir: once a top-secret military base that was supposed to provide radar coverage of a huge area from the Turkish coast to the Baltic Sea, Pamir was supposed to work in tandem with a similar base on Mount Stiy of the Borzhava ridge. Over time, after the collapse of the Soviet Union on November 5, 1995, the military base ceased to exist and became a festival venue and a refuge for shepherds.
Back to our journey. Starting the trail, we go to Mount Tomnatik 1565m, set up our tents on the Pamirs, and go to cook dinner. After sunset, we can walk around all the domes and take cool photos, because at night this place becomes even more mysterious.
- Day 2. Descent to the village of Shepit and return to Lviv
The sunrise on the Pamirs is no less beautiful than the sunset, so we recommend that everyone wake up early and watch the sunrise in the mountains. Then we will have a delicious breakfast, walk around the abandoned military town, take more photos, play some board games, and hit the road. Today we have to go down to the village of Shepit.
A bus will be waiting for us in Shepit to take us to Lviv. We arrive in Lviv around 23:00.
