We invite everyone to see the Carpathians from a different perspective! The Tatra Mountains, with their peculiar alpine landscape, are also called the smallest mountains among the largest mountains in the world. Our route will pass through two peaks: Rysy 2503m and Koprovskyi Shtyt 2363m. We will see mountain lakes, waterfalls, picturesque meadows, and the Tatra Highway. We will stay in a cozy guesthouse.
There is one more important point! We should not forget that the war is ongoing, so we are helping the Armed Forces. One of us is still fighting near Bakhmut—Daniil Kharytonchyk, so we will transfer 15% of our profits to the 80th Air Assault Brigade. - Day 1: Departure from Lviv at 6:00 am
First, we drive to the border with Poland. Crossing the border will take up to 90 minutes, and then we will head to the Slovak city of Poprad. We will stop at a cafe for lunch, rest, and get to know each other better. Then, we will move to the High Tatras and check into a guesthouse where we will live for the trip. We will cook dinner, tell exciting stories, and play board games in the evening.
- Day 2. Koprovskyi Shtyt
On the first day of the trip, we will climb Mount Koprovskyi Shtyt. Although it is not the highest peak in the High Tatras, the route to it is probably the most beautiful. From the top, we will see the entire mountain range, its Polish part, and all the picturesque valleys in the palm of our hand.
The day will not be difficult, but it will be full of scenery. Most of all, we like the Gintsovo Oko lake. It is similar to the Sea Eye, but there are 100 times fewer tourists. We will arrange a small photo shoot there.
We will have a friendly gathering in the evening, so musical instruments are very welcome on the trip.
- Day 3: Mount Rysy
The second travel day will be devoted to climbing Mount Rysy. This mountain is unique in its three peaks: the largest is central to Slovakia at 2503 meters, the northern peak is the highest point in Poland at 2499 meters, and the third peak is located in Slovakia at 2473 meters. We plan to climb the highest peak in the central region.
Our route will run along the Tatra highway. First, we drive to Popradske Pleso and start climbing. We pass by the Zhabye Pleso Lake and climb to the tourist shelter “Hut under the Rycy.” Here, we will have a rest and lunch. After lunch, we go to Sedlo Vaha (saddle) and climb the Rysy mountain. Part of the route will be hung with special chains, but these are just additional safety measures—there is nothing complicated there.
The impressions of this trip will keep us warm for a long time. In the evening, we will recall the trip's best moments and rest well before returning home.
- Day 4: The last day of our trip
On the way home, we will exchange the best photos, become friends on Facebook, and arrange the next adventure together. The estimated arrival time is around 22:00.
