Rotylo Ukraine
About the trip
- 03.02.2024 - 04.02.2024 (2 day) - Registration untill Jan. 29, 2024
We have recently discovered a new mountain range - the Zaprutski Gorgany. You have seen them, but you have hardly been there. If you go to the Kukul Ridge and look east, you will see mountains from Vorokhta to the Kryvopil Pass and a little further. The route is straightforward, and most importantly - with beautiful views, the trail will pass through Mount Rotylo (1483 m) - the highest peak of this ridge. We will start the hike from the village of Volova, where we will spend the night in a lovely cottage, which is precisely what we need for a winter hike.
Also, the cottage owner sells delicious pickled porcini mushrooms, so keep that in mind—we're definitely stocking up.
There is one more important point! We all should not forget that the war is on, so we are helping the Ukrainian Armed Forces. One of us is at the front - Daniil Kharytonchyk, so we will transfer 15% of our profits to the 80th Air Assault Brigade. If you want to make a donation, you can top up your monobank!
